Session cookie

A first-party cookie links your browser to its server-side cart, draft checkout, security token and order key. It has an absolute 12-hour lifetime measured from creation. HttpOnly prevents ordinary page scripts reading it, SameSite=Lax restricts cross-site sending, and Secure is used on HTTPS. Blocking this cookie may stop the cart or checkout working. It is not used as an advertising profile. Expired server files are removed on later requests, not by an hourly task.

The bottom preference card

On a fresh visit, the compact preference card stays at the bottom of the viewport. It does not move the page or count ordinary navigation as consent. Opening settings, changing page or reloading before a decision leaves the card available. Accept and Essential only both retain only the necessary functions installed today. Neither action starts an advertising service, and neither clears your cart.

Saved decision

An explicit decision is saved in local storage under a key specific to this shop for up to 180 days. A choice on another storefront does not apply here, even if the preview host is shared. Private browsing, storage controls or clearing browser data may shorten this period. The saved value represents your choice, not an email subscription, loyalty account or marketing permission.

Change or clear it

The panel does not display fictitious toggles for tools that are absent, or claim that checkout security can be switched off safely.
